Ms. ItzcovitzInstructor: Ms. ItzcovitzEvery Child Stronger......Every Life Longer
My goal is to promote physical activity and better nutrition as part of daily life. I strive to have my students experience a variety of physical activities, fitness activities and sport skills to support long, healthy and happy lives. It is important for my students to recognize the value of physical activity for good health, enjoyment, self-expression and social interaction.
Active Kids = Active Minds
Research shows that physical activity can positively affect:* Blood flow and oxygen to the brain, thereby improving mental clarity
* The part of the brain responsible for learning and memory
* Connections between nerves in the brain, thereby improving attention and information-processing skills
