The Mildred Barry Garvin develops students with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.

Vision

To create a school which equips students with 21st Century Skills utilizing innovative and instructional practices, fostering collaboration and developing critical thinkers.

Goals:

1. Continue to provide focused, innovative differentiated instruction and cooperative learning to increase student engagement which gives every student the opportunity to become critical thinkers utilizing the NJSLS.

2. Continue to promote parental involvement in the educational experience.

3. Continue to increase excellence in literacy and mathematics to enhance student performance in all academic areas.
