    Philosophy

Wahlstrom Early Childhood Academy will provide a safe and orderly climate with a learning environment that places an emphasis on literacy. High expectations by both staff and parents support the belief that each student is capable of making significant academic progress. Students understand and agree that their first priority at school is to learn. Students will not only be able to read, but will read with more fluency and greater understanding. Literacy is an essential skill necessary for success in all academic and professional areas and every student has the right to achieve it.
