• MUSICAL THEATER

    MUSICAL THEATER (GRADE 8 ONLY) (10HS)
    Students should have a strong interest in singing, acting and dancing.  Students will be asked to sing a song by memory and perform a one-minute monologue my memory.  Students have the choice of singing one of the following for their audition:
    • A Broadway Solo
    • The Star Spangled Banner
    • Lift Every Voice and Sing
    Students should be able demonstrate clear pronunciation, projection, articulation and characterization. Candidates are also asked to submit a writing sample explaining their interest in musical theater.
